It’s nice when all the big dust particles come off of the camera sensor in one quick pass with a Giottos Rocket Air Blaster. 📷

I wish search engine query languages offered an operator that excludes shopping sites and services. Would be nice to not have to go past pages of search results for information on certain products.

So this is what happens to cauliflower if you keep letting it grow. 📷

It has been a year of missing you. It will be a lifetime. Thinking of you and the times we had together.

While at the coast last weekend, we went on an excursion to the Neskowin Ghost Forest.

That day it was a foggy with columns of rising steam visible. I’m not sure if this is common there but it sure added to the spookiness of the name.

As in many parts of the Oregon coast there were rock formations of various sizes that dot the landscape and make it ever more interesting than just a sandy beach.

The winds changed on the coast here last night. It got cooler suddenly. This is the cool air coming to Portland by tonight. We drive back in a few hours bringing it with us. Hold on y’all!

We went exploring this rock formation on the beach near our Airbnb in Lincoln City, Oregon. It gets pretty much submerged during the high tide.

There are a lot of mussels! And anemones.

Some starfishes too…

And of course sea weed, crabs, seagulls, etc. all over the beach.

The weather has been interesting. Fog comes and goes on the beach. The coast is the warmest I’ve ever experienced, as there is a historic heat wave in the entire Pacific Northwest.

Hope friends in Portland are staying cool. As luck would have it, we picked this weekend to be on the coast for a family getaway a couple months ago. Returning tomorrow, so we’ll still get the tail end of this historic heat wave.
