Last week NASA landed the Perseverance rover on Mars. I watched live the entry, descent, and landing phase as events happened. It was quite exciting.
Today they released a set of high definition videos from various cameras that captured the descent and landing in amazing detail. This is a first and wow, that footage is incredible!
NASA also released the first ever audio recorded on another planet. Today I heard the breeze on Mars. Amazing!
Perseverance carries with it the Ingenuity helicopter. So we will have the first powered flight on Mars to look forward to in the near future. And I’ll be sure to tune in for that.
